DEFINITIONS & SITE TERMINOLOGY
Track(s) / Beat(s) - Refers to any audio composition on the dmezures.com website.
Download - Refers to digitally copying one of our audio compositions from our servers onto your desktop, mobile, or tablet device
Projects & Products - Refer to any media, presentation, video sync, and/ or any other work that embodies in whole or in part a dmezures track.
Standard License - A license granted for projects & products that will reach fewer than 5000 people.
Premium License - A license that is granted for projects & products that will reach 5000 people or more.
Mechanical Royalties - Royalties paid per unit sold of a project.
Performance Royalties - Royalties collected from performing rights societies for the performance of a track in a project note: (You NEVER pay these to us! They are paid by performing rights organizations like ASCAP, BMI,SESAC, and SoundExchange.)
Buyout - The purchase of exclusive rights to any audio composition on Dmezures.com
Members - Refers to customers that are paid current and active on any one of the membership plans offered at dmezures.com
Non-member - Refers to customer who choose to license tracks on a "one-off" per use basis.
User - Person(s) using the www.dmezures.com website
LICENSE COVERAGE
Standard Licenses
All standard licenses are granted in perpetuity. In order for a standard license to be granted, the use of said license must be registered according to the dmezures.com instructions listed below, at the time of purchase. A standard license purchased thru the dmezures.com website awards a mechanical license with the following rights and privileges.
1. The non-exclusive right to one use of the downloaded track in one project.
2. The non-exclusive right to sell, distribute, and broadcast any project to audiences of no more than 4999 people.
Standard licenses are royalty free, which means that you are granted the stated privileges upon payment and registration of your use thru the dmezures.com website. No additional mechanical royalties are required.
Premium Licenses
All standard licenses are granted in perpetuity. In order for a standard license to be granted, the use of said license must be registered according to the dmezures.com instructions listed below, at the time of purchase. A standard license purchased thru the dmezures.com website awards a mechanical license with the following rights and privileges.

What you CANNOT do
1. You agree not to use any track download in a internet platform, sound/music library, or product that is a competitor of dmezures.com
2. You agree not to use your downloaded track in any other project/product not listed in your initial registration.
3. You agree to give credit on all commercial releases embodying a track license purchased from this site.
3. You agree not to try and screw us over and use any of the beats in our library without following the rules set forth.
REGISTRATION OF USE
You must register your use of any purchased track at the time of purchase. There is a "notes" section on the checkout screen. You agree to input your project name and the intended use for your purchased track in this section before final checkout. It is understand that your license will not take effect until we have this information. Project use registration is only required for non-member purchases. Subcribers to any one of the membership plans listed on dmezures.com excludes your purchase from the registration requirement.
It is understood that every additional or new project use requires a new license.
OUR PUBLISHING INFORMATION
All recordings from the dmezures.com library are published through Thaber Music (ASCAP). Please use this information for the direction of performance royalties associated with sync licensing for television and film.
BUYOUTS & CUSTOM PRODUCTIONS
All track buyouts and custom productions are considered "works for hire" as defined by the US copyright law.
Licensing for buyout and custom productions will be governed by a custom agreement established between dmezures.com and the user.
MISCELLANEOUS STUFF
Dmezures.com and its affiliates will not take responsibility if the audio purchased with your license do not meet the specific needs and or purpose of the user. These tracks are licensed without warranties, therefore cannot be responsible for any indirect or direct loss arising from it's use.
Purchasing Dmezures.com products and/or licenses in any way, bind the user to these Terms and Conditions of use. Dmezures.com reserves the right to change and or amend its Terms and Conditions at any time.
